The Fairy Queen
In the meadow, by a stream,
Lives a gentle fairy Queen.
Her kingdom is so very small,
Just blades of grass and flowers tall.
She showers each of them with care,
And makes the needed small repairs,
To leaves and petals when they’re dry,
And keeps the roots and stems alive.
Her careful work is never seen
By those who walk right by the stream,
And yet her kingdom always shines,
With each plant kept in God’s design.
